Coming across this on LitHub, I thought this was very cute. The picks may not be for everyone, I certainly wouldn't choose all of these, but still, it's a fun little flowchart.

With the provincial government’s April 1st announcement of a return to a province-wide shutdown as of 12:01am April 3rd, Words Worth will be once again closed to in-store traffic. We will be continuing to do no-contact pickup from our back door, as well as deliveries for $3 in Kitchener and Waterloo on Monday and Friday mornings. In both cases, payment ahead of time is required.
Further news will be shared as it comes up.
Hey everyone!
This weekend is Easter, so it's probably no surprise to anyone that we will be closed on Friday and Sunday (with regular 9am-6pm Saturday).
That being the case, our regularly scheduled deliveries for Friday will be going out Thursday morning, so if you need anything delivered, please make sure to contact us and pay for your order Wednesday night so we can make sure they're ready to go out Thursday morning!
Thank you all, and Happy Easter!
So, a couple weeks ago we talked about our plans to open today, March 1st, and unfortunately some people have tried to come in today and learned that due to various circumstances that are not worth getting into, we are still closed, and chose to remain so another 2 weeks until Monday March 15, barring complications.
We do apologize for the inconvenience of anyone who has tried to come to the store over the last week and were unable to, and promise we will keep you up to date on if there are any other changes when it comes to re-opening on the 15th.
In the meantime, stay well, and don't forget you can always reach us by email at hello@wordsworthbooks.com or by phone at 519-884-2665.
Back in September, in all our rushing around, we almost failed to notice that we were nominated for two Community Edition Best of Waterloo Region awards for Best Shops & Services, specifically for Best Bookstore, and Best Online/Curbside Shopping Experience.
We are very happy to announce that we won both!
While we are of course honoured to win both awards, oddly enough we are most pleased about the Best Online/Curbside Shopping Experience award.
This has been a scary year for all of us, and businesses in Uptown Waterloo have taken a major hit. Back in March when we closed to the public, we didn't know what the future would look like for us, and I won't lie, inside we questioned what the future may bring. All we could do was try our best, and in a matter of a couple days, we essentially switched to a warehouse for online and phone orders, with pick-ups at our back door.
It wasn't ideal, we work at an independent book store because we like dealing with people, engaging with all you lovely folks and having genuine connections over our shared love of books. But we did what we had to (as everyone has), and tried our best to make the experience as seamless and painless as we could for all of you.
There were times when we questioned whether we were doing it right, it was unknown territory to all of us. That being the case, winning this award means the world to us, and we would like to thank everyone who voted for us from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you all so much!
