Words Worth Books has a BLOG at http://howtofurnisharoom.blogspot.com where two of our staff, Mandy and David, have been recording their book reviews. Check it out and don’t leave without scribbling something in response—it’s lonely out there in cyberspace.

In early 2007we switched our electricity provider to Bullfrog Power, Ontario’s first 100% green electricity retailer. Our electricity is still from the existing grid, but Words Worth Books is now carbon neutral. With Bullfrog, the electricity mix is made up of wind and low-impact hydroelectric power, rather than coal or nuclear. This means that there are no greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the day to day running of the store.

Words Worth Gives Back: The Ishmael Beah event on April 19th,2007 raised proceeds of $2500 which was presented to Project Ploughshares. Thanks to The Record for co-sponsoring this event.
